Mindy Sterling, Jeff B. Davis and Michael Hitchcock are among the comics joining Conway and bandleader Dweezil Zappa in the series, which features different characters and settings in each installment. The show also incorporates studio-audience suggestions (solicited by host Charles Esten) as to how the storylines should proceed. Andy Dick and Brian Doyle-Murray guest star in this episode, which finds a hotel-chain owner (Tim Conway) sending a mailroom clerk (Jeff Davis) to Malibu to manage a hotel that's losing money.

Brenda throws a bridal shower at the hotel for a college pal (Cheri Oteri), but things get rowdy when a stripper arrives. Meanwhile, Mr. Henderson (Tim Conway) tries to get a good night's sleep on the eve of an important meeting.

Brenda bets Jeff she can fill the hotel with guests in less than 24 hours, but she neglects to mention that the lodgers are all prostitutes. To make matters worse, Mr. Henderson arrives at the hotel because his wife kicked him out of their house.

The crew welcomes actor Andy Richter, who comes to the hotel to prepare for the role of a bellboy in a movie. But an accidental bump on the head leaves Richter with a case of amnesia, and he begins to believe that he is a real bellboy.
