Prism Stars are performers on the new popular ice show, Prism Show. They are superidols whose techniques, singing and fashion sense are a cut above all others. Aira and Rizumu are two Prism Stars whose goal is to become the best, the Prism Queen; however, the road to success is bumpy.

Aira Harune, a clumsy yet happy-go-lucky girl, is suddenly dragged into the popular world of Prism Shows—an idol show based on figure skating, where performers called "Prism Stars" wear outfits encased in Prism Stones and perform stylistic Prism Jumps. Captivated by the dazzling fashion and gorgeous Prism Jumps, Aira decides to become a Prism Star herself.
She soon encounters the hot-headed Rizumu "Rhythm" Amamiya, who desires to perform the legendary Prism Jump “Aurora Rising”; as well as the prideful Mion Takamine, who dreams of becoming the brightest Prism Star above the rest. The journey of these girls is marked by friendship, growth, and unexpected encounters. Can they perform Prism Jumps high enough to reach their dreams and become the next Prism Queens?

A Star is Born!

Aira stumbles upon her younger siblings watching a Prism Show on TV then goes out to buy fruits for her dad's cake shop. After she attained the fruit she began mix matching the clothes on the manikins at the clothing shop in the mall. A girl almost runs into her while she was thinking about how much fun it would be to be a prism star just once, and they both do an amazing spin jump to avoid collision. After the girl runs away Aira is taken by Jun, who sees potential in her. Due to Mion not going through with the prism show Aira and the girl at the mall, Rizumu, are put in the show as debut Prism Stars.
