The legendary Tai Ping Street is a place where neither the underworld nor the law can engage in violence. Traumatized by the murder of his only son, Ye Tianqing (Jiang Tao), the powerful underworld figure Ye Gaitian (played by Wong Tak-bun) establishes a peaceful code for Taiping Street. Gradually, desperate underworld figures flock to him, promising to lay down their weapons and hatred and jointly protect Taiping Street. While seemingly peaceful, a dark undercurrent lurks within. From the moment Zhang Ling (Nana) (played by Chrissie Chau) is allowed to reside on Taiping Street and open a tattoo parlor, casualties begin, underworld feuds erupt, hearts race, blood begins to flow, and tears begin to flow.
