Master KO PAK LING establishes Kiang Sheung Party to teach and train disciples. He runs an underground gambling house, covering up in the facade of a herbal medicine shop. He has many disciples and amongst them, the first disciple HO MANG NIN and the second disciple TSE CHIN SHUI are imparted all skill of crookery. NIN and SHUI swindle and bluff everywhere. Their co-operation is flawless and goes smoothly everywhere. Yet they fail sometimes and make LING laden with anxieties. A customer of LING predicts that he will be killed within a month. He is worrying that after his death, dispute will be inevitable between NIN and SHUI over the mastery of their party. To subside the tumult, he orders the two disciples to go to Chai Nan and bring back an old woman whose identity he does not reveal. He also promises that there will be a decision of his succession when they come back. NIN and SHUI set off without hesitation.… ...
