Highlights include a nine-year-old girl, who looks after both her disabled parents, being given a treat every young Harry Potter fan will envy.

Among this year's recipients are 10-year-old Cameron Small, who suffers from a rare blood disease and has had more than 800 visits to hospital. Edmonds also heads to Morpeth, Northumberland, which was devastated by floods this year, forcing many residents to leave their homes.
