Feeling threatened by his new sidekick, the "hilarious" Joey Fatone, Joe heads to a comedy club to hone his comedy-monologue skills.

The network finds Joe a terrible sponsor for his show: “Sometimes,” the adult diapers for Millennials. Meanwhile, Sam has a breakdown.

Paige takes charge of Comfy while Sam is on a break, and she boldly moves Joe’s show to daytime, prompting Joe to quit because he dislikes the show’s new format.

Joe is depressed about the demise of his show, so he lets himself deteriorate until the network stages an intervention.

Pop’s original scripted comedy series stars boy band heartthrob Joey McIntyre as a version of himself alongside his real-life familywife Barrett and their three children, Griffin, Rhys and Kira. As he embarks on a hilarious quest to be taken seriously as a legit actor, Joey is thrown into the reluctant role of a talk-show host at a fledgling cable network called the Comfy Channel. As Joey starts to navigate the talk-show circuit, he is joined by his often misguided manager and team.
